I happen to love Butter Beans, which are large, flat and yellow/white variety of lima beans. I usually like them plain, but the combination of parmesan and asparagus really works. This Parmesan Asparagus and Butter Beans is ready in 10 minutes and makes a great side for chicken or fish.

Ingredients
¼ cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons grated parmesan
½ teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 pound asparagus, and cut into pieces
1 cup canned butter beans, drained
Directions
1Whisk mayonnaise, parmesan, pepper and lemon juice. Place asparagus in a steamer basket set over simmering water. Add the butter beans; cover and steam until tender, 3 to 5 minutes. Transfer to a platter. Season with salt; drizzle with the sauce and top with shaved parmesan.
