Crispy Shell Baked Tacos are a family favorite and convenient to serve. These corn tortillas are filled with a mixture of refried beans and ground beef seasoned with taco spices. As they bake in the oven, they transform into crispy and golden brown tacos. Once they’re out of the oven, you can customize them with your favorite taco toppings, such as shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and more.

Directions
1In a large skillet begin to brown the ground beef, breaking it up into bite-size pieces. Cook until the beef is brown and no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Then add the taco seasoning as per package instructions.
2Preheat the oven to 350° F.
3While the taco meat is simmering begin to heat up the taco shells. Unwrap taco shells, place on a cook sheet. Bake the taco shells for 3 minutes until crisp and golden brown.
4Once taco shells are done carefully scoop in the refried beans, taco meat and top with a generous portion of Mexican cheese and stack them in a casserole dish. Bake for about 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
5Serve with additional toppings.
