Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Lemon-Chive Dipping Sauce

After eating these Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Lemon-Chive Dipping Sauce, you wonder why on earth you didn't like Brussels Sprouts as a kid! This is a snack without the guilt. You're welcome!

Ingredients

Dipping sauce

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons chives, minced

1 teaspoon lemon zest plus 1 tablespoon juice

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Brussels Sprouts

1 pound Brussels sprouts, halved or quartered if large

2 tablespoons olive oil

salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

Dipping sauce

1Mix all ingredients together.

Brussels Sprouts

1Preheat oven to 450°F.

2Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until well coated. Put the sprouts on a baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes, until they are crispy and brown.

My sister-in-law (my Ohio one, not Leslie herself) had never liked Brussels sprouts until I made this recipe last night…and she loved them! And with a piece of heavy duty foil in the roasting pan, it was one of my easiest cleanups. Thanks, Leslie!
