Cheesy Fried Pickle Balls

My family is obsessed with anything pickles. I saw this recipe for about Cheesy Fried Pickle Balls and of course, made them. You can air fry or fry them in oil on the stovetop. Let's just say, they are a crowd-pleaser.

  • Prep: 15 mins
  • Cook: 10 mins

Ingredients

½ cup pickle chips, chopped and squeezed of liquid

4 ounces cream cheese

⅔ cup cheddar

½ cup grated Parmesan, divided

¼ cup panko bread crumbs

1 large egg, whisked

Directions

1Mix with the pickles, cream cheese, cheddar, and ¼ cup of parmesan cheese. Roll into balls. Coat in the egg and ¼ cup Parmesan and panko bread crumbs.

2Mix with the pickles, cream cheese, cheddar, and ¼ cup of parmesan cheese.

3Roll into balls

4Coat in the egg and ¼ cup Parmesan and panko bread crumbs.

5 1 cup avocado oil, if frying on the stovetop

Air Fry

1Air fry @ 400° F for 8 minutes.

Fry on the stovetop

1Place a few of the balls into the hot oil at a time, cook until golden on all sides. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a plate lined with paper towels. Work in batches until all are fried up .

They’re ok… I prefer actual fried pickles…. A little too cheesy for us.. good recipe, though
