This Channa Masala Tomato Soup, which is a combination of Trader Joe's Organic Low Sodium Tomato & Roasted Red Pepper Soup and frozen Channa Masala is absolutely delicious. I am going to make sure to always have the ingredients on hand. Serve it with their Malabari Paratha.
Greek Yogurt or Sour Cream and chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
TJ’s Malabari Paratha, cooked according to package directions, for dipping (optional)
Directions
1Add soup to a medium saucepan. Heat over medium-low, stirring occasionally.
2While soup heats, microwave channa masala according to package directions; stir.
3Divide soup among 4 shallow serving bowls. Divide channa masala and gently spoon atop the center of the soup. Garnish with a dollop of yogurt and a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
