Marmite Popcorn
I happen to love snacks. In fact, if I could, I would eat snacks instead of real meals, but that would send the wrong message to my (now adult) children. One of my favorite snacks is from the UK called Twiglets. It's definitely an acquired taste. It's marmite covered twigs. Doesn't that sound appealing?! Since they are difficult to find here and rather expensive, this Marmite Popcorn fits the bill.

Butter Braised Spring Onions
These Butter Braised Spring Onions tender, fragrant and sweet. You can also grill them. Spring onions resemble scallions in appearance and flavor, but with a bulb at the bottom, instead of completely straight. Still mild in flavor, spring onions have just a touch more spiciness to them when eaten raw.

Matzo Crack
Guest blogger Jessica from Beauty Marks.
Matzo Crack has come to be a Passover staple, and is, as far as I’m concerned, the highest and best use of matzo. Some call it matzo Roca (and put almonds on it like Almond Roca), some matzo toffee – but matzo crack most aptly describes it. You will want more. You will scrape up the spilled baked brown sugar mixture from the cookie sheet. Your guests will rave.

Those Potatoes
My mother-in-law used to make “Those Potatoes”. I have no idea where she got the recipe from. They are very crispy and delicious. It works best if you cook them in a cast iron skillet.
