Curried Peas

Here is the perfect side dish for your Chicken Tikka Masala.

Curried Peas

Serves 4

2 cups frozen peas, thawed
1 Tbs oil
2 tsp whole brown mustard seeds
2 Tbs onion, finely minced
2 tsp curry powder
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp ground ginger
2 tsp honey
¼ cup sour cream

Heat oil over medium heat.  Once it’s hot, add the onion and cook 2-3 minutes.  Add the mustard seeds and cook until they start to sizzle and pop, add curry powder, garlic, ginger and honey.  Stir and then add the peas.  Cook a few minutes until the peas are heated through.  Turn off the heat, stir in the sour cream and serve.
