Ode to October

Boo hoo, cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it!
October is the best month of the year. It is my favorite or should I say preferred month. I got married in October because I love it. The weather is meant to be perfect, sweaters come out, stew gets made, etc… Unfortunately, Southern California just doesn’t cut it. See the picture to the left? Well that just doesn’t happen here. As my daughter would say, boo hoo, cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it!
Also, anyone that knows me knows that orange if my favorite color – sorry Eric (my husband). It’s not his favorite by any means. Almost every piece of cooking equipment I own is orange, even my knives. This is why October is so great – orange is everywhere, though I do not own an orange car – sad really. I suppose I shouldn’t bring up the time living in France I ingested large quantities of carotene to get a tan. Tan and orange are not the same thing. Enough said. I now am older, wiser and have no desire to be tan!
So, since I have been blogging since July, I thought I might ask you if there is anything in particular that you would like to know how to make. Any direction I shoud go?
