Hard Boiled Quail Eggs

Hard Boiled Quails eggs are a great appetizer to keep your guests busy! Serving a cheese platter is an easy and takes the stress out of holiday entertaining. Buy a few different types of cheese, and arrange them with variety of things like nuts, crackers, cornichon and cured meat and you can't go wrong.

  • Cook: 15 mins

Ingredients

12 quail eggs

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon vinegar

celery salt, to serve

Directions

1Place the eggs in a saucepan. Cover them with water.

2As soon as the water reaches a full boil, add the salt and vinegar. Lower the heat to medium-low. Cook for about 2-3 minutes. Turn off the heat. Cover with a lid and let the quail eggs sit for about 10-12 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath. Cool the eggs completely.

3Serve the eggs with celery salt.
