These sweet, sour, salty and savory Spiced Cherries in Bacon sound completely crazy, but these are good. My sister-in-law, who lives in the UK, told me about these. Apparently, these are a real hit at posh dinner parties around London.
- Prep: 5 mins
- Cook: 20 mins
Directions
1Take the lid off the cherries and pour in the Worcestershire sauce until the cherries are submerged. Put the lid back on and keep in the fridge for at least a couple of days.
2Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with baking parchment. Stretch out each half slice of bacon on a board with a knife and then wrap it around a soaked cherry. Secure with a cocktail stick. Cook for 20 minutes until the bacon is cooked and caramelized. Allow to cool for a few minutes and then serve.
