6 slices thick cut bacon, cut into ½ inch pieces
2 garlic cloves, lightly crushed
1 pound spaghetti
4 eggs
2 egg yolks
1 cup plus 2 Tablespoons Parmesan, grated
3/4 cup frozen peas
1 cup whole milk
½ cup half & half
2 Tablespoons parsley, chopped
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
Directions
1Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a 2 quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Dust inside of dish with 2 Tbs Parmesan by tilting dish and allowing cheese to stick to the sides of the dish. Set aside.
2Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to boiling.
3Cook bacon and the garlic over moderate heat until golden, about 3 minutes. Discard the garlic. Keep cooking the bacon until just crisp, 10 minutes. Drain on a paper towel lined plate.

5In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and yolks. Add 1 cup of the cheese, the milk, half & half, parsley, salt and pepper. Toss sauce with pasta in pot along with bacon. Transfer to prepared dish and top with remaining 2 Tbs Parmesan.
6Bake at 375 degrees F for 35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes, then cut into wedges.
