My dad ordered this Sea Bass with Lemon Soy Butter in a Japanese restaurant. It was delicious and he can't stop raving about it. Here is my take on this fish. You could use the lemon soy butter on some any other things.
Prep: 10 mins
Cook: 15 mins
Yields: 2 Servings
Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 whole sea bass (1¼ pounds), gutted, gilled, scaled, and fins removed
Sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper
6 tablespoons butter, melted
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 green onions, thinly sliced
Directions
1Drizzle with olive oil and season the cavity and exterior of fish with salt and pepper. Cover with plastic, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
2Preheat the oven to 450° F.
3Place the fish on a foil-lined baking sheet and sprinkle green onions over and around fish; and bake for 15 minutes, until the fish is cooked through.
4Meanwhile combine the butter, lemon juice and soy sauce and drizzle the sauce on the fish.
