Salami Paté

I saw Tom Fauconnet (@totocuistot_ ) make this phenomenal Salami spread. There is nothing better when you find out you happen to have all the ingredients. So 5 minutes later, voilà, utter perfection! My kids can over right away to consume this fabulous paté and it miraculously disappeared in 5 minutes. We discussed other uses for it, like spread on a grilled cheese or even maybe stirred into pasta. 

  • Prep: 5 mins

Ingredients

½ cup salami slices

4 - 5 cornichons

4 - 5 pearl onions

1 heaping tablespoon grainy Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Directions

1Put all the above ingredients into a food processor or blend. Blend until smooth. Pack it into a ring mold and serve with toasted. baguettes or crackers.

Note

1You can put a raw pasteurized egg yolk on top to serve. This is optional.
