The Presbyterian Cocktail is a refreshing cocktail made with ginger ale or Bourbon or Rye or whiskey. The Presbyterian church is the national church of Scotland. There are many stories about how the Presbyterian cocktail came about. One story is that in the 1950s it was a “mocktail" served without the alcohol to teetotaling Presbyterians so they fit in at cocktail parties. This cocktail is very light and refreshing.
