This Ham Salad recipe is an old family favorite. I always make this with leftover ham. You can have your butcher (if you have a butcher!) grind ham for you, or grind it in a food processor or grinding attachment.
Yields: Makes about 3¾ cups, enough for 6 sandwiches
Ingredients
3 cups coarsely ground ham
2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup diced dill pickles
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
black pepper, to taste
Directions
1In medium bowl stir together all ingredients. Make sandwiches on soft sandwich buns or whole wheat bread.
