Everything Chicken

This Everything Chicken recipe is made with everything bagel seasoning. A friend of mine contacted me asking for the recipe for Everything Chicken. I had never heard of it, but of course, I had to make it. It’s ridiculously easy to make and really delicious.

Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

¼ cup “Everything” Seasoning Blend (or make your own, see below)

Everything Seasoning Blend

2 tablespoons poppy seeds

1 tablespoon white sesame seeds

1 tablespoon black sesame seeds

1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon dried minced garlic

1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon dried minced onion

2 teaspoons flaked sea salt or course salt

Directions

1Heat oven to 425° F.

2Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in a large baking dish.  Brush on both sides (turning once) evenly with olive oil.

3Sprinkle approximately 1 tablespoon of the seasoning blend evenly on top of each chicken breast.  Gently pat the chicken to press on the seasoning, then mist the chicken with a brief shot of cooking spray.

4Bake chicken for 30 - 40 minutes, depending on the size of the chicken and if the internal temperature thermometer reads 165°F (at the thickest part of the chicken) then the chicken is cooked and safe to eat.

6Once the chicken is cooked, remove the pan from the oven and loosely tent the pan with aluminum foil.  Let the chicken rest for at least 5 - 10 minutes.  Then serve immediately.
