Caramelized Onion & Chili Crisp Pasta

Ingredients

10 ounces spaghetti, or pasta of your choice

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 large onions, sliced

3 tablespoons chili crisp

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon salt

1½ cups heavy cream, half and half or coconut milk

¼ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded, plus more for garnish

Directions

1Add olive oil and butter to a pan then add the onions and sauté on low until caramelized for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2Once they are caramelized, remove the onions to a bowl.

3Add the chili crisp and garlic to the pan. Stir for 15 seconds on low heat.

4Slowly stir in the half and half. Stir until thickened. Add in the onions back to the pan with the Parmesan cheese and remove the pan from the heat and stir. Then add the cooked spaghetti and stir.

5Garnish with more Parmesan and serve.
