Basil Cream Sauce

This Basil Cream Sauce is very versatile. You can use it for a sauce for chicken, shrimp, salmon, and fish. It would also be good as a dip for fresh vegetables.

  • Yields: Makes ½ cup

Ingredients

½ cup crème fraîche

¼ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Directions

1In a bowl stir together crème fraîche, basil, and mustard. Add extra chopped basil for garnish.
