Sweet & Spicy Bread & Butter Pickles
Try these Sweet & Spicy Bread & Butter Pickles. They are so easy and so delicious! Wickles Pickles are one of my favorite bread and butter pickles. Unfortunately, they are now very difficult to find. I have checked practically every market in my area. So in a fit of desperation, I made my own!

Chicken Pot Pie
This is a very basic Chicken Pot Pie recipe that is very mild and the epitome of comfort food. You can “jazz” it up anyway you want, but this recipe really worked for us. You can make one big one in a casserole or 8 small individual pot pies.

Grilled Cantaloupe with Prosciutto, Burrata & Arugula
Instead of doing the typical tomato / basil thing, I decided to go out on a limb and try Grilled Cantaloupe with Prosciutto, Burrata & Arugula. Burrata is a fresh Italian cheese, made from mozzarella and cream. The outer shell is solid mozzarella while the inside contains both mozzarella and cream, giving it an unusual, soft texture.
I love grilled fruit. This recipe would also work with peaches or nectarines.

Bacon & Brown Sugar Smokies
Warning! These Bacon & Brown Sugar Smokies are addictive! This is reminiscent of Brown Sugar Bacon, which is transcendent. My husband thinks the little smokies should be bathed in Dijon mustard before wrapping up in the bacon, which would be very good.

Peanut Butter Chews
Try these Peanut Butter Chews. A no bake cookie recipe. I went to San Marino High School in San Marino, California the '70s. I hated high school. I moved to California my freshman year and was always an outsider. I still feel like an outsider, anyway, nothing that years of therapy won't solve..... I digress.... One high point in my time there was a "cookie" they sold in the cafeteria, which also sold corn dogs that had a greenish tinge to them! This cookie-ish thing was called a peanut butter chew. It was very weird and wonderful. You don't even have to bake these! So for all my SMHS friends, without further ado - the peanut butter chew! Nice rhyming, if I do say so! My friend Kay from SMHS took this wonderful photo!
