Mexican Scrambled Eggs

This Mexican Scrambled Eggs recipe is from Nigella Lawson. I had all the ingredients and made it within 5 minutes of reading the recipe. There is nothing more satisfying than that. I even used one of my jalapeños from my garden. I have modified the recipe slightly to include cheese and finishing it under the broiler. Everyone at my breakfast table LOVED it.....

Tiramisu

This Tiramisu is a very simple, classic Italian dessert. Tiramisu in Italian means "pick me up" or "lift me up" and is a popular coffee-flavored Italian dessert. It is made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar, and mascarpone cheese, flavored with cocoa.

Spring Lettuce with Sautéed Pears

I love this Spring Lettuce with Sautéed Pears recipe. The sweetness of the sautéed pears goes perfectly with the tangy, simple vinaigrette.

Peanut Butter Chews

Peanut Butter Chews

Try these Peanut Butter Chews. A no bake cookie recipe. I went to San Marino High School in San Marino, California the '70s.  I hated high school.  I moved to California my freshman year and was always an outsider.  I still feel like an outsider, anyway, nothing that years of therapy won't solve.....  I digress....  One high point in my time there was a "cookie" they sold in the cafeteria, which also sold corn dogs that had a greenish tinge to them!  This cookie-ish thing was called a peanut butter chew.  It was very weird and wonderful.  You don't even have to bake these!  So for all my SMHS friends, without further ado - the peanut butter chew!  Nice rhyming, if I do say so! My friend Kay from SMHS took this wonderful photo!
