Nightmare Cocktail

Last night was a true nightmare. My daughter, Grace, got a very bad case of the stomach flu and actually passed out. Her eyes rolled back in her head and she turned the color of pickled herring. My husband grabbed her and we ran to the car. Fortunately, a brand new urgent care opened up 5 days ago only a few blocks away. Since it is so new, no one was there except for 5 doctors and 10 nurses. They were wonderful and the facility is amazing. We were there for about an hour and they determined it was only a case of the stomach flu. She regained her color and we came home. Unfortunately, she got sick again in the night. I will feed her bananas and rice today.
Because I am tired and this posting is so late, I came up with a cocktail called a Nightmare. There is a website called Drinknation which has a wonderful list of cocktails for Halloween.
Nightmare Cocktail
1/2 oz Brandy, cherry
1 1/2 oz Gin
1/2 oz Madeira
1 tsp Orange Juice
Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.
