I happen to love cheese. Yes, it’s one of my many downfalls.
A Grand Day Out with Wallace and Gromit
Wallace: Gromit, that’s it! Cheese! We’ll go somewhere where there’s cheese!
[Looks at “Cheese Holidays” magazine, then out window]
Wallace: Everybody knows the moon is made of cheese…
[a machine malfunctions]
Wallace: Well, what’s wrong with this stupid…?
[it breaks down]
Wallace: [stunned slightly] Oh
[eating the moon]
Wallace: It’s like no cheese I’ve ever tasted…
[Wallace and Gromit are on their spaceship, about to leave Earth]
Wallace: No crackers Gromit! We’ve forgotten the crackers!
My sentiments exactly! I have decided to do some cheese-y blogs. Yesterday, I downloaded a new app for my iphone called Fromage. With over 750 cheeses, this is clearly the best pocket guide to cheeses made throughout the world. A “must have” for all connoisseurs of fine foods. Well, of course, I must have it!
Anyway, my good friend, Mary Ann, had a wonderful party last night and served some interesting cheese called Raspberry BellaVitano from Sartori: this cheese is soaked in New Glarus Raspberry Tart Beer. This cheese is made in America. It boasts an amazing, almost cravable taste reminiscent of an aged, premium Cheddar balanced by a full flavored Parmesan.
