Dishonest / Deceptive Packaging

I recently bought some Nature Sweet Cherubs, which they call “Sweet Snacking Tomatoes”. The reason I bought them was because I had a coupon for $1 off. Such a deal! It comes in an innovative container that is very eye catching. I am a sucker for nice packaging. The tomatoes were delicious and very well protected in this fancy container.
Their website touts – The container is resealable and allows you to easily pour tomatoes out of the top. Yes, this is true, very cleaver indeed. What the innocent consumer does not realize is that there is a big injected bubble at the base of the package, which is completed cover in tomatoes. The company says that the idea was to protect the Cherubs from untoward bruising and damage. I think not! The packaging makes it impossible to visually determine the actual amount of tomatoes in the package.
I’ve been had! While their product is very high quality, it left a very bad taste in my mouth.
