Slow Cooker Texas Roadhouse Pot Roast

This Slow Cooker Texas Roadhouse Pot Roast is so simple to make and packed with flavor. With a touch of BBQ and tomato sauce, this effortless pot roast makes for a delicious dinner.

Ingredients

2 - 2.5 pounds chuck roast

½ onion, chopped

½ bell pepper (any color), chopped

2 stalks celery, chopped

2 large potatoes, chopped into chunks

2 cloves of garlic, minced

½ cup tomato sauce

½ cup BBQ sauce

2 beef bouillon cubes

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon dried thyme

½ cup water

Directions

1Place roast in the bottom of the slow cooker.

2Top with vegetables and potatoes (optional).

3Top with BBQ sauce, tomato sauce, water and spices.

4Cook on low for 8-10 hours.

I have tried alot of different roast recipes. This is definitely my most favorite. The only thing I did differently is I browned the roast first.
