This Sautéed Asian Broccoli Slaw is very easy and fast to prepare. Broccoli slaw is made from peeled and grated broccoli stems, carrots and red cabbage. Truth be told, I use it in stir-fry dishes all the time at the school I cook for. The kids have no idea they are eating broccoli and they love it.

  • Prep: 5 mins
  • Cook: 10 mins
  • Yields: 4 - 6 Servings

Ingredients

2 teaspoons sesame oil

12 ounces broccoli slaw mix

3 green onions, sliced

1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce

1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions

1Add sesame oil, slaw mix, and green onions to the pan and cook for 2 minutes. Add soy sauce and vinegar and cook 2 minutes, until vegetables soften. Season, to taste, with sesame seeds, salt and black pepper. Serve immediately.
