Marinade for Beef

This Marinade for Beef is really good. Marinades do two basic things to meat: they tenderize and enhance flavor. The acid in the marinade helps to break down the connective tissue and adds even more fabulous flavor.

  • Prep: 10 mins
  • Yields: Makes about 2 Cups

Ingredients

⅓ cup soy sauce

½ cup olive oil

⅓ cup fresh lemon juice

¼ cup Worcestershire sauce

1½ tablespoons garlic powder

3 tablespoons dried basil

1 teaspoon white pepper

¼ teaspoon hot pepper sauce

1 garlic clove, minced garlic

Directions

1Combine the soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, basil, pepper, hot pepper sauce and garlic.

2Pour marinade over desired type of meat. Cover, and refrigerate for up to 8 hours. Cook meat as desired.
