These Country-Style Ribs with Homemade BBQ Sauce in a Slow Cooker are so tender. Country-style ribs are meatier than other rib cuts and contain no bones.

  • Prep: 15 mins
  • Cook: 6 hrs 15 mins
  • Yields: 8 Servings

Ingredients

4 pounds boneless country-style pork ribs

BBQ Sauce

1 large onion, finely chopped (2 cups)

4 garlic cloves, minced (2 tablespoons)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1½ cups ketchup

⅔ cup honey

½ cup cider vinegar

½ cup Worcestershire sauce

6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (from 2 lemons)

2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon dry mustard

1 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

BBQ Sauce

1Sauté onion and garlic in a medium size pot in oil until tender, then add the rest of the ingredients. Simmer for 15 minutes.

2Place ribs in a slow cooker and stir in the BBQ sauce.

3Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until ribs reach that tender 'fall apart' stage.
